#1: Electronics Week 2024.02.17.
As part of Electronics Week at the RTU Faculty of Computer Science Information Technology and Energy RTU DITEF an olympiad for school pupils and students was held. Electronics enthusiasts and future specialists were introduced to laboratories showing the equipment available to young people such as signal generators analog and digital oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers vector network analyzers soldering stations and equipment as well as absorbing surfaces shark Harald and antennas.
In addition participants were informed about current priority research directions as well as ongoing projects implemented at the Institute of Photonics Electronics and Electronic Communications formerly the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications.
To strengthen the institutional capacity of the university future experts were shown the scientific laboratory of Space Electronics and Signal Processing SpacESPro Lab. Young people were introduced to the transfer of competencies and knowledge from the experienced generation to the new generation providing insight into the work of scientific staff and demonstrating future cooperation opportunities with industry specialists.
At the end of the event school pupils and students had the opportunity to view a coil system created within the project an automated measurement system developed by a masters student and to evaluate its advantages in the implementation of measurements using computer control.
